Property taxes and fees

  • The Client understands that government accommodation tax may not be included in the price and is subject to payment upon arrival. The tax is 30.00 MAD Per person per night for government tourism tax and 11.00 MAD per person per night for TPT. 
  • Payments made with a VISA card are subject to a 2.5% surcharge.

Cancellation Policy

  • For 3-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom Villas, as well as Suites, clients may cancel their reservations with a full refund up to 45 days prior to arrival. Non-refundable rates will be charged at 100%, and no-shows will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total stay. Clients waive any right to receive refunds for cancellations made within the specified period, including same-day arrivals, but the hotel may choose to refund clients at its discretion. The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize payments or debit the entire sum before the end of the free cancellation period.

Property Quiet Times

  • Clients are kindly advised that the hotel's quiet times are in effect from 22:00 to 08:00 AM.

Damage to the Hotel and its Contents:

  • Clients are responsible for any damage to the Suites & Villa or its contents that has occurred due to negligence, willful damage, or irresponsible behavior on the part of those occupying the hotel or their guests. Damage must be immediately reported to Mirage d’Atlas or its representative, and the Client must pay for the cost of the replacement or damage.

Rights of Access:

  • Clients should be aware that Mirage d’Atlas, their representatives, or their sub-contractors retain the right of access to the property at any time to inspect the premises and carry out essential or routine repair or maintenance work. Clients will be notified in advance of any necessary access.

Responsibilities:

  • Neither Mirage d’Atlas nor its representatives can be held responsible for any circumstances beyond their control, including mechanical breakdowns, illnesses, swimming pool maintenance, emptying of the swimming pool for necessary maintenance, or failure of any public service supply.

Injury and Damage:

  • Mirage d’Atlas is not responsible for compensating clients for any personal injury, illness, death, loss, or damage of whatever nature suffered by them or any member of their party during the booking period or thereafter. The Client agrees that they are solely responsible for their safety, including the use of hotel facilities such as the gym.
  • Parents are responsible for the safety of their children during their stay.

Complaints:

  • Clients are advised to report any complaints regarding Mirage d’Atlas or its contents to the hotel manager. The hotel will take reasonable steps to resolve the matter on behalf of clients and in liaison with the owner of the property. Please note that Mirage d’Atlas and its representatives cannot be held liable for complaints submitted after the completion of the hire period.

Force Majeure:

  • The hotel cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of their contractual obligations is prevented or affected by ‘Force Majeure’.
  • ‘Force Majeure’ means any event the supplier of the service(s) in question could not foresee or avoid, even with due care.

Insurance:

  • Travel insurance against cancellation, personal accident, and medical expenses is not included in the hotel hire cost. It is a condition of booking that clients take out travel insurance, as it is their responsibility to do so. 

Child Policies:

  • Persons under 3 Y.O. are considered babies.
  • Persons between 3 Y.O. and 12 YO are considered children.
  • Persons above 12 Y.O. are considered adults.

Special Requirements:

  • Clients who require vegetarian or vegan meals, or meals that adhere to specific allergens, may request them from the hotel's cook. However, it is the responsibility of the client to clearly communicate any relevant allergies to the hotel staff.

Special Conditions for Morocco:

  • Drug trade or use and prostitution are severely punished by Moroccan law, and any non-compliance with the law may result in immediate expulsion from the hotel without compensation.
  • Moroccan couples must present marriage certificates upon arrival, and failure to do so may result in denial of entry, with clients waiving the right to any refunds and being compelled to pay for their stay.

Group Booking Policy

  • For stays requiring three or more rooms, clients must obtain pre-authorization from the property management. Failure to declare this requirement or to respond to an inquiry regarding group stays may result in the cancellation of the reservation. For large group reservations, clients must provide a 50% non-refundable downpayment upon reservation and the remaining balance must be paid in full three months before the scheduled arrival date.

Disclaimer

  • Clients who book a suite are deemed to have accepted the rental agreement and its terms and conditions. By booking a suite, clients acknowledge their responsibility and agree to all the aforementioned terms and conditions.
